obtaining the CCA
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is a European Community body responsible for regulating aviation safety. Based in Cologne, Germany, it has been operational since September 2003.
The creation of the EASA marked a turning point by introducing common Community regulations on civil aviation safety and training. Regulation (EC) 216/2008, which came into force on 8 April 2008, defines the Agency's missions. All the Member States of the European Union are members of the Agency and rigorously apply its directives.
The Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) is a European regulatory title issued by a State or a body accredited by an EU Member State, in accordance with European Regulation n°290/2012 - CC.CCA.100.
Students trained by SkyWings, having passed all the theoretical and practical examinations, obtain a licence valid in all the Member States of the European Union, in accordance with Annex VI PART-ARA, Appendix II of the European Regulation.
The training provided by SkyWings is officially registered and approved by the Dutch Civil Aviation Authority under approval number NL-ACCTO-002/1.
